Welcome to
EarthCo Building Systems, Inc. We are the home of the
EarthCo MegablockTM process, a new regenerative
construction delivery system that combines an onsite
manufacturing process with a simple and efficient
mechanical placement process. The newly patented EarthCo
MegablockTM machine, a modern factory on wheels, is
taken to the jobsite and converts local soils into giant
modular building blocks called EarthCo MegablocksTM.
The EarthCo
MegablockTM pictured above was produced by our patented
process. This small block (by our standards) measures
18” wide by 12” tall is over 14 feet long and weighs
more than 1 ton. Notice the smoothness on both the sides
and the top/bottom dimension. This is a result of the
patented extrusion process and facilitates placement
using no mortar. A mist of water is placed between
courses to permanently fuse the blocks together. This
precision also allows us to turn the block on its’ side
to produce 12” thick interior walls. Please note the
small block lying on top of the EarthCo MegablockTM.
It’s a typical 14” by 10” by 4” --- 40 pound block
produced by current CEB technology.
A hydraulically
powered lifting device (similar to above) allows
standard construction equipment to quickly assemble
massive load bearing walls especially well suited for
use in passive solar designs of zero energy carbon
neutral structures for residential, commercial and
military applications.
Today’s uncertain supply and rising costs of fossil
fuels, depletion of other naturally renewable resources,
environmental degradation, rapidly increasing world
population, and global climate change --- dictate the
need for an innovative and sustainable construction
delivery system capable of meeting our present and
future construction needs while allowing time for our
renewable resources to regenerate themselves; hence our
reference to a regenerative building process.
